Lodestar Verified.
A trust mark that travels.
Every Lodestar memo issues a certificate. The certificate carries the protocol version, the inputs hash, the confidence grade, and the freshness window. It travels in board decks, tender disclosures, fund mark workpapers, and audit files — and any third party can verify it.
Certificate fields
What's in a Lodestar Verified certificate.
A signed record. Cryptographically bound to the protocol version, the inputs, and the engagement that produced them.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Protocol version | v0.1 (or current) |
| Inputs hash | sha256:[hash] |
| Confidence grade | Public-Only / Issuer-Verified / Transaction-Backed / Council-Reviewed |
| Issuance date | YYYY-MM-DD |
| Freshness | Current (≤90 days) / Stale-180 / Stale-365 |
| Source-grade summary | Tier mix without exposing exact inputs |
| Issuer attribution | Only if issuer consented to public disclosure |
| Vertical module | SaaS Infra / Vertical SaaS / etc. |
The certificate is cryptographically signed by Lodestar's private key. Verification is via Lodestar's public key.
Verification
Anyone can verify. No login required.
The Trust Mark Verification Portal at /verify lets any third party paste a hash and see authenticity, version, and freshness.
What the portal verifies
- • Authenticity (signature valid)
- • Protocol version
- • Confidence grade
- • Freshness (current / stale-180 / stale-365)
- • Source-grade summary
- • Vertical module
What the portal does NOT reveal
- • The underlying valuation range
- • The exact inputs
- • The issuer name (unless explicit consent given)
- • The valuation range itself
It only verifies authenticity. The verification primitive makes Lodestar Verified an externally-auditable claim, not a brand assertion.
Where it travels
A trust mark only travels when it can be verified.
Privacy posture
Default unlisted. Per-field opt-in.
Default unlisted. Per-field opt-in for any public surfacing. Refresh-only opt-in— the trust mark is invisible in third-party renderings if older than 90 days.
The certificate is yours. You choose where it travels and at what granularity.
Two distinct labels
Lodestar Verified vs Lodestar Private Scenario Analysis.
Visually and contractually distinct so misuse is obvious. A 'Lodestar Private Scenario Analysis' produced by a buyer cannot be passed off as a Lodestar Verified certificate.
| Lodestar Verified | Lodestar Private Scenario Analysis | |
|---|---|---|
| Issued from | Issuer Vault (Mode 1) | Diligence Room (Mode 2) |
| Authorization | Issuer | Buyer / fund / auditor |
| Updates Verified Value | Yes | No |
| Trust mark scope | Public verifiability | Sealed to requester |
| Use in third-party materials | Issuer-authorized | Requester-only |
